Place the Stain or the Lining
Once
your staircase is excellently cleaned, smooth, and without the shadow
of impurity, it is time for you to dress or cover it. Depending on
the construction of your staircase, you can choose to apply a stain
or add another layer of coating to your steps, risers, and stringers.
Using a rag and a brush, note that you are fully entitled to stain
your previously polished hardwood staircase, taking care to follow a
specific process. The goal is not to darken the stain too much.
The Finishing Stage
The last step to renovate
a hardwood staircase consists in
perfecting the rendering with a finishing application. Depending on
your preferences, you can choose a vitrified, waxed, painted, or
other finish. To be taken very seriously, this step allows you to
make your hardwood staircase clean, resistant, and durable over time.
